I first met Joo Won Park at a Knights Art Challenge event where he and my buddy Frances Kai-Hwa Wang were both winners. Did some research, discovered he's the man in the world of experimental electronic composition but most importantly, that the sounds he was creating were opening me up to brand new sounds and ideas. That, my friends, is what excites me the most.

This 1473 release then is a compilation of remixes of Joo Won's work from artists Akosuen, Cinchel, Jon Monteverde, and Jienan Yuan. I cannot overstate how pysched I am for this one - it's new sounds galore!

So, thank you to Joo Won Park for the honor of remixing his work. It has been a very exciting project to assemble!
